Leeds Jewish Welfare Board (LJWB)
The Leeds Jewish Welfare Board is the charity responsible for the running of the Community Centre. Founded as the Leeds Jewish Board of Guardians in 1878 its aim is to fund high quality, culturally sensitive, residential and community care services to people in need in our community.
The Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre
The Marjorie & Arnold Ziff Community Centre first opened its doors to the whole Community on 19 June 2005. 3,000 people of all ages attended its first open day, and over 1,000 joined the Centre in the first month. It has already become a Centre for the whole Leeds Jewish Community and its neighbours.Tel: 0113 218 5888

Leeds Jewish Care Services (LJCS)
Leeds Jewish Care Services receives funding both from LJWB and from Leeds City Council, private funders and others. It provides support to nearly 1 in 5 people in the local Jewish community, delivering a wide range of care and support service for children in need, families in crisis, disabled children, adults with disabilities, people with mental health problems, individuals with learning disabilities, older people and frail elderly people.
Its projects include:
The Hub (day services for older people)
The Rainbow Project for people with learning disabilities
Neshama its Mental Health project
and the Manny Cussins Family Project which provides support and activities for families with children, including those who need foster care.
