Building works, repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and development are integral to the provision of good housing services. LjHA aims to offer an efficient and speedy repairs and maintenance service. In order to respond to improved standards and changes in consumer demands a programme is underway of refurbishment on existing properties and the development of new schemes.

LjHA is committed to:

Maintaining the Association’s housing stock in good condition for the safety and comfort of its tenants, residents, and owners;
Ensuring that all properties comply with quality and health and safety standards;
Continuing a 4 year cyclical maintenance programme for all properties;
Delivering a planned stock investment programme in conjunction with the stock condition survey;
Providing a prompt and efficient repair and maintenance service;
Providing a 24 hour emergency repair service;
Continually monitoring and assessing contractors performances to ensure value for money;
Developing high quality new schemes at the most economic cost.
