In October 2016, Leeds Jewish Housing Association took the Repairs and Maintenance service in-house. LJHA hired three contractors: Mark Ellis, Tony Gerrity and Tim Lumb. These operatives carry out work for LJHA and many of you will have met them as they were previously sub-contracted by Ford Property Maintenance. Below are the three operatives currently employed by LJHA.

Then, in November, we took on Glen Finch, our Quality Assurance Manager up until early February. Glen played a crucial role in assisting LJHA to set up in-house repairs and paving the way for advancements in the service. Sadly we said goodbye to Glen in February, however he handed over to LJHA’s newest staff member: Andrew Durdey (pictured below), Property Services and Development Manager.
